Two buses provide a regular service
331 Hertford and Royston, also serves Ware, Standon, Puckeridge, Braughing and Barkway.
Routes vary with some more direct than others. There are 12 scheduled buses each way
Monday to Saturday daytime with 1 or 2 in the evenings. No service on Sunday.
700 Stevenage to Stansted Airport, also serves Hitchin, Letchworth, Puckeridge and
Bishop's Stortford. There are 6 scheduled daytime in each direction Mondays to
Sundays with 2 in the evenings.

22 Buntingford to Hitchin two per day Tuesday and Saturday
24 Buntingford to Royston via Therfield, one per day each way Wednesday,
Friday and Saturday.
25 Buntingford to Sandon circular route, two on Monday
28 Buntingford to Furneux Pelham one each way on Mondays
354 Buntingford to Harlow one per day each way Monday to Saturday
There are a few other routes with very limited service mainly serving the schools. These include 386, 184, 898 and 899.

BUS PASSES
Bus passes are issued by East Herts. District Council and may be obtained from one of their Cash Offices located at;
Wallfields, Hertford open 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday
The Causeway, Bishop's Stortford open 8.45am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
If you already have a pass, then EHDC will send you renewal by post.
For new passes, you must have 2 photos, proof of age and proof of postal address.
Forms for the national bus pass are available from EHDC or at the Manor House, Buntingford.
TRAINS
The nearest train stations are;
WARE approx. 10 miles serving Liverpool Street to Hertford East
ROYSTON approx. 8 miles serving Kings Cross to Cambridge
STEVENAGE approx. 10 miles serving Kings Cross main line services
HERTFORD NORTH approx. 11 miles serving Moorgate and Kings Cross
